roll'd was born out of a passion for sharing good food that was instilled in us by our family. You’re probably wondering who ‘us’ is. How about three guys and their little baby - a Vietnamese place..

He’s 'the Entrepreneur' with a monstrous appetite for his mum’s traditional Vietnamese cooking.

It is the best in the world, after all. Meetings are just another excuse to share a meal, preferably one that is cooked by his lovely Mẹ (’mother’ in Vietnamese).

Thanks to childhood friend, the Entrepreneur, who one day introduced the idea of roll’d over dinner (of course!)..

He has hung up 'the Suit' and now happily spends his days indulging in his love of Vietnamese cuisine and putting his Finance degree to delicious use.

The go-getter driven by a passion for the hospitality industry and his mother’s home cooking, having grown up in the family business - a Vietnamese bakery.

He and the Entrepreneur disagree on just one thing: whose mother’s cooking is best.

As simple as it all looks, it didn’t come together that way.

Of course we began with a great base of recipes enriched with love and tradition from our Mums, but there was still endless hours of testing and tasting to create the perfect balance for the masses.

There was fun, there was failure and it all ended in amazing food..
